Introduction
To This Study
(Please
Read This Before Beginning the Study)
Welcome Brothers, Sisters, and Friends,
I am Brother Glenn, your Host for this Study. Thank you for
being here. If you like my work here or feel it has benefited you, please click
on my Donation link to help me continue in my work. Right now, I’m doing this
all alone with only my own limited resources for funding. Your contributions
will help me to continue and will be greatly appreciated.
The underlying question for this Study is:
Did
Christ Divinely pre-exist with God since the beginning of all Time or Creation?
This question has been argued and debated among Biblical
Scholars for centuries. Those arguments have sometimes become bitter and
hostile, causing divisions and separations among people, relationships, broken
friendships, within individual churches, and even entire church denominations.
The purpose of this study is NOT to prove
either side of that argument right or wrong. Not at all! The
purpose of this study IS to provide the Reader with the
facts straight out of the Holy Scriptures exactly as they are written in
their respective Bible versions. My motto here is: Let the
Scriptures speak for themselves; THEY will tell THEIR OWN STORIES.
Nowhere in this Study have I made any personal comments in the Scriptures.
Then, after studying these Scriptures, the Student can form their own
conclusions on this matter. I believe the answer will be clear.
1) What this study will require of you:
a) Patience:
This Study will not be just a quick-read or something you can just glance over.
Take each scripture and study through it, including the footnotes, from all 6
of the Bible Versions which are included. Work your way down through the
numbered list of all the Scriptures in the order I’ve presented them.
In some
places, it may appear that I have over-simplified things somewhat. I do that
for the sakes of the newcomers to God and the Bible, or those with lesser Bible
experience.
For your
convenience, I have included Hyperlinks throughout this study to help you
easily navigate between the lessons and pages.
b) An open mind willing to be taught: For
newcomers, this shouldn’t be difficult. But for those of you with more Biblical
experience, this may be a bit more challenging for some of you. You will need
to, at least temporarily, brush aside your biases, opinions, and pre-conceived
notions on this matter. Just focus on the Scriptures as they are written.
c) Study ALL of the Scriptures, including
Footnotes, in the order presented:
2) For Group Study settings: Read each Scripture
from all the Bible Versions. Then you could have a group discussion of it,
comparing the versions and seeing how they coincide with each other. I think you’ll
be amazed!
On the next page (2), you will see a break-down and
description of the 6 Bible Versions used in this Study. Hopefully, that will
allow you to study with confidence. Again, please click on the Donate button if
you like this. Thank you.
